Teaching

I have taught courses at the BA-, Ma-, and PhD-level. In 2014 I received the Teaching Excellence Award from University of Copenhagen, Department of Political Science (Award: DKK 20,000≈ €2,700). The award is bestowed by the Departments’ Board of Studies. This is an excerpt from nomination:

“Rasmus knows how to inspire us. Based on the answers to his questions, he manages every week to generate discussion, teaching us to review the theorists critically, and facilitating a deeper understanding of the material. The whole discussion is taking place at eye level with us students, and there is no debate just for the sake of debate or student involvement just for the sake of involvement. On the contrary, it is discussion that makes difficult topics easier to understand and creates enthusiasm.”
